Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues on local, regional, and international arenas. Okaz and Al-Yaum newspapers said in their editorials that the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on regional and international issues is consistent and clear since its establishment by King Abdulaziz. The newspapers noted that the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz before Arab and European leaders at Sharm El-Sheikh summit, reiterated the Kingdom's firm positions on regional issues, stressing the centrality of the Palestinian cause as the first Arab issue. The newspapers indicated that the King has affirmed the Kingdom's commitment to fighting terrorism, its supporters and financiers, first and foremost the Tehran regime, which is the head of the snake in this global epidemic. The newspapers said the King's speech pointed once again to Riyadh commitment to the political solution to the Yemeni crisis, accusing Iran-backed Houthi militias of responsibility for the continuing suffering of the Yemeni people. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom is counting on the economic alliance with the European Union countries in the next phase to support its vision 2030 and achieve its general objectives in attracting domestic and foreign investments. The newspaper said that the Asian tour paid by HRH Crown Prince last week included Pakistan, India, China, came in this regard and witnessed a number of economic alliances and agreements.
