Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Yaum and Al-Riyadh newspapers said in their editorials that since the Israeli occupation of Palestine's lands, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stands with Palestine with all its political and economic weight and fights for its just cause in every forum. The newspapers noted that the Kingdom's position towards the Palestinian cause has been stable since the era of late founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman until the present auspicious era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince. Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the European Commission has attempted desperately to list the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's name on the list of "high risk" countries on money laundering and the financing of terrorism. The newspaper indicated that the European Commission has ignored the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in the fight against terrorism and its great endeavors and achievements in draining the sources of financing terrorism locally and internationally for many years.
