UN Undersecretary General for Peacekeeping Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix praised the Yemeni government's fruitful cooperation with the UN team in supporting the implementation of the Hodeidah Agreement. This came during his meeting with Permanent Representative of Yemen to the United Nations Abdullah Al-Saadi. Lacroix affirmed the role played by Yemen through its participation in the peacekeeping force, and promised to reconsider the resumption of Yemen's participation in peacekeeping forces in the near future when removing obstacles, he did not disclose, according to the Yemeni official news agency. For his part, Ambassador Al-Saadi stressed the importance of resuming Yemen's participation in the United Nations peacekeeping forces.
