The Public Prosecutor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Muajeb has warned from the criminal phenomena threatening the security and safety of individuals and societies, especially in light of what the world witnesses of remarkable developments in methods of committing these crimes. This came in his speech before the participants at the 1st Middle East and North Africa Regional Conference organized here by the Egyptian Public Prosecution authority. He said that many of these crimes have become cross-border, requiring more cooperation among countries and organizations in the fight against those crimes and reducing their proliferation. The Saudi Public Prosecutor said that the Kingdom affirmed and reaffirmed its strong commitment to joint global efforts to combat money laundering and terrorism with its partners and allies at the international level, stressing that that the Kingdom is also a key partner in the coalition against the so-called Da'esh terrorist organization. The conference aims to strengthen international cooperation in the face of the growing threat of the operations of financing terrorism and money laundering around the world.
