Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri here today received Advisor at the Royal Court Nizar Al-Aloula. During the meeting, Advisor Al-Aloula conveyed the greetings and congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of the Ministers and Minister of defense, to the Lebanese Prime Minister on the occasion of formation the new Lebanese government. They also discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and the region and the bilateral relations between the two countries. Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid bin Abdullah Bukhari said in a press statement after the meeting that many issues were discussed during the meeting, including the preparation for the joint committee between the two countries and the initial preparation of sending a group of technocrats from all government sectors and Lebanese institutions to meet their counterparts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that preparations for holding this joint committee would strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in an institutional manner. The Ambassador then read out a statement stating that "due to the absence of security reasons which caused the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to warn its citizens against travel to Lebanon and based on the assurances received by the kingdom from the Lebanese government on the stability of the security situation and its keenness on the safety of Saudi citizens, the Kingdom lifts its warning to citizens traveling to the Republic of Lebanon, whether from the kingdom or any other international destination."
