The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a member of the UN Women Executive Board (2019-2021) and the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) for 2019-2022, has affirmed its commitment to continue to invest its expertise during its membership so that the Board becomes more active. It also announced its commitment to encouraging further policies, strategies and practices to support the advancement of women at the national, regional and global levels. This came in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's speech delivered by Noura Al-Jabreen, the First Secretary and Chairwoman of the Social, Human and Cultural Committee of the Kingdom's Permanent Delegation to the United Nations, during the UN Women Executive Board first regular session 2019.
