Council of Economic and Development Affairs here on Tuesday evening held a meeting during which a number of economic and developmental topics were reviewed and the necessary recommendations were taken. They included a presentation by the committee for improving the performance of business in the private sector and encouraging it to participate in the economic development "Taiseer", which included an assessment of the most important challenges and opportunities facing the private sector in the kingdom, the stages of achievement in addressing the challenges at the sector level as well as an analysis of the international indicators and the work plan of the Taiseer committee for the coming period. The council discussed the presentation by the Ministry of Economy and Planning on the quarterly report of the national economy and reviewed the most important domestic and international economic developments and most prominent developments in performance indicators and future expectations.
