Cultural Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Egypt Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Nami stressed the importance of the Cairo International Book Fair at the Arab and international levels. The 50th Cairo International Book Fair was opened earlier today by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi. The Saudi Cultural Attaché said in a statement today that the Kingdom is participating this year in the Cairo International Book Fair with a pavilion worthy of the history, civilization and originality of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to introduce the scientific and cultural movement and the economic and urban development witnessed by the Kingdom in the light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The Saudi pavilion at the Cairo International Book Fair is the largest participating pavilion, as it includes a large number of private publishing houses and governmental bodies represented by ministries, authorities, universities and public libraries. It also contains a large number of distinguished Saudi publications and books, in addition to organizing a rich cultural program, an exhibition of visual arts that present the Kingdom's heritage in a wonderful way.
