More than 2.5 Million Intending to Perform Umrah Arrive, over 3 Million Visas Issued

Umrah weekly-monitoring indicator recorded arrival of more than 2.5 million people intending to perform the rituals of Umrah.
On the other hand, the indicator put the number of visas issued at more than 3 million.
The newly launched indicator, run by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, at the beginning of the new Hijri Year, is based on four main factors: the number of visas issued, the total of arrivals, the number of Umrah performers and visitors in Makkah and Madinah in addition to the number of those who departed the Kingdom following performing Umrah.
