Published in Saudi Press Agency on 08 - 01 - 2019

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday afternoon.
At the outset of the session, the King briefed the Cabinet on the contents of the message he sent to Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.
The Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency that the Cabinet reviewed latest developments at regional and international arenas, pointing to the Kingdom's efforts in supporting peace and stability in the region and the world, and its support and stand with the Yemeni legitimate government to reach a political solution in accordance with the three agreed references, and will continue to contribute to achieving stability in Yemen and supporting development efforts along with the international community.
The Cabinet condemned what has been carried out by Iranian-backed coup Houthi militias through their delaying and circumventing Stockholm agreements, continuing violating all conventions in a blatant and clear defiance of the international community, misleading international organizations by disseminating false information and inaccurate data about the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, disrupting relief efforts and humanitarian support, looting aid, funds and donations from donor countries and humanitarian organizations in areas under their occupation.
The Minister explained that the Cabinet appreciated what has been expressed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) of thanks and appreciation to the contributions and support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the Agency and enabling it to continue its works and overcome its financial crisis, including the recent financial contribution of US$ 50 million in support of its services to Palestinian refugees in the areas of education, health and social services.
The Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah also said the Cabinet issued, at the conclusion of its session, the following decisions:
First:
The Cabinet authorized the Minister of Civil Service or his deputy to discuss with the Korean side a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Civil Service of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Personnel Administration of the Republic of Korea in the field of civil service, sign it and submit the final version to complete the formal procedures.
