OIC Secretary General Commends Niger's Efforts in Combating Terrorist Group Boko Haram

OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen commended Niger's government for neutralizing around 287 Boko Haram terrorist militants and seizing a large quantity of military hardware in the southeast border with Nigeria between 28 December 2018 and 02 January 2019.
Dr. Al-Othaimeen addressed his congratulations to Niger's Government and its military forces for having inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist group Boko Haram.
The OIC Secretary General called on Member States and the international partners to redouble efforts in supporting countries in Africa fighting the different terrorists groups, which continue to pose serious threats to regional peace and security.
