Within Building Technology Stimulus Initiative, Majed bin Abdullah Al-Huqail, Minister of Housing, handed over here today the first two-day-constructed house within under-construction projects in partnership with the real estate developers. Sultan Al-Qurashi, Saudi citizen, received the first housing unit within SAKANI Program in Al-Wajiha project which is implemented by Al-Hakimiah Company in Dammam. Al-Wajiha project includes 574 villas with non-traditional methods in house construction through activating modern techniques with high quality. Only 48 hours are required to build this housing unit, which included all relevant steps of construction. This method of technique came within the objectives of the housing program which is one of the programs of the Kingdom Vision 2030 in order to speed up construction process and provide citizens with high quality and competitive housing units, hence stimulating reliance on construction techniques and localization of their industry, in the Kingdom. Dr. Al-Huqail was briefed on the first two-day-accomplished villa as part of Al-Wajiha project with SAKANI program in partnership with qualified real estate developers. This project is allocated for the previous batches of the SAKANI program. The Minister of Housing has lauded this achievement, affirming to continue works for providing the best services for citizens and delivery of the project in the defined period.
