Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper said that several international reports have pointed out in recent days that the Iranian regime will witness its worst days in 2019. The state of popular anger in the country since the beginning of this year is rising, and the protest movements are due to the high cost of living, the deterioration of economic conditions. Inflation will be even stronger as these protests have risen dramatically since the US sanctions began last November in several vital sectors, including truck drivers and factory workers. There is almost unanimous agreement that the consequences of tightening and intensifying US sanctions against Iran will materialize in 2019, which will certainly see a more complex situation than 2018, as a result of a 30% drop in oil exports due to sanctions, which directly affects the budget. Al-Riyadh newspaper in an editorial entitled (Janadriya .. roots and the future) said: For three decades, the National Festival of Heritage and Culture (Janadriyah) has been one of the most important features of Saudi culture, in addition to establishing its name as one of the most important annual stations in the Arab cultural track. Al-Riyadh added that the successive success of the Janadriya Festival is a natural result of the vision of the Saudi leadership since the beginning of the festival in 1985. To this day we live in the atmosphere of the 33rd session, transforming it into the most important cultural event not only in the Kingdom but also in the Arab and Islamic horizons. The patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the inauguration of the new edition of the festival emphasizes the keenness of the leadership to support this great cultural project.
