Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, Executive Director of the Yemen Comprehensive Humanitarian Operation Support Center and Supervisor of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber met here today with officials of the World Food Program (WFP). During the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the Center and the WFP, in addition to the program's needs and ways to facilitate its humanitarian work and relief in Yemen. The Center presented a visual summary of the comprehensive humanitarian operations plan in Yemen and the results achieved, including the increase in the volume of economic and relief imports in 2018 compared to the previous year 2017. The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen reviewed the projects implemented in the Yemeni governorates, and all the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian and relief efforts in Yemen. For his part, Ambassador Al Jaber expressed his thanks to the WFP, praising its efforts to alleviate the sufferings of the Yemeni people.
