Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir received here today Saudi Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyadh bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili. During the meeting, the President stressed the importance of the relations between the two countries, enhancing and activating channels of cooperation and participation in training courses and joint action through maneuvers between the Sudanese and Saudi armed forces, which supports the security and stability of the region. For his part, the Chief of General Staff expressed his thanks and appreciations to the Sudanese President for his warm reception and keenness to develop cooperation between the Saudi and Sudanese armed forces that will enhance the defense capabilities of the two countries.
