Emanating from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's keenness to address the needs of male and female citizens, and based on what has been submitted by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Council for Economic Affairs and Development, the King ordered the continuation of payment of the monthly cost of living allowance by (1,000) one thousand Riyals for citizens of civil and military employees. The royal order included also the continuation of payment of the cost of living allowance of pension allocated to the beneficiaries of citizens by the Public Pension Agency and the General Organization for Social Insurance by (500) five hundred Riyals. It further included the continuation of payment of the monthly cost of living allowance allocated to the beneficiaries of social security by (500) five hundred Riyals and the continuation of the increase of the reward paid to male and female students of citizens by (10%). Payment shall be for all for one fiscal year until the completion of the study of the social protection system.
