Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Advisor-Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), has chaired here the second supreme coordination meeting to follow up the joint financial contributions provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to support and fund the United Nations Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen 2018, it was reported today. The meeting, which took place yesterday, was attended by Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Mark Lowcock and UAE Assistant Foreign Minister and International Cooperation for international development affairs Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Shamisi. During the meeting, they discussed the challenges facing humanitarian action in Yemen and violations carried out by the Houthi militias against the rights of the Yemeni people, reviewing mechanisms of studying the humanitarian needs based on neutral standards. They also discussed a mechanism of taking advantage of all Yemeni crossings for relief action to all Yemeni governorates without exception.
