Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Advisor-Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), and Pierre Krahenbuhl, Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), co-signed here today a grant memorandum worth USD 50 million to be provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to UNRWA. KSrelief Supervisor General said that this grant memorandum aims at alleviating the suffering of more than three million Palestinians as well as Palestinians refugees in Syria, Lebanon and Jordan in the fields of education, health, relief and protection. UNRWA Commissioner General stressed that this great contribution by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has helped UNRWA to reduce the deficit of this year.
