United Nations Works and Relief Agency (UNRWA) and the Saudi Fund for Development co-signed yesterday, a package of various projects, worth $ 35 million. Pierre Krahenbuhl, the Commissioner of UNRWA said that the donation by Saudi Arabia, has played a crucial role, that allowed the UNRWA to reopen schools, on time, for about half million Palestinian refugees' pupils. The donation will also contributes in supporting basic projects on education and health, in Gaza, and maintaining the UNRWA projects, in the five regions of Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, he added.
