Yemeni Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh welcomed all calls to bring about peace, in accordance with the three recognized references, calling the Iranian-backed Houthi militias to go back to the negotiating table, stop the war, end the coup d'état and desist from launching ballistic missiles towards densely populated areas, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This was unfolded, during a military encounter, in Marib, with military commanders, in the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Army and the Commander of the Coalition Supporting Legitimacy Forces, in Yemen. Saleh reasserted that the legitimate government is fighting a defensive war for the sake of peace, in order to restore the state, reaffirming that the Houthi militias inclination to peace and positive response to carry out UN Resolution no:2216, would end the strife, suffering of the Yemenis and restore the state, thus bringing about security and stability to Yemen as well as the region.
