Saudi Arabian national football team U-19 claimed a place in a second successive AFC U-19 Championship finals, delivering a near-flawless performance to defeat defending champions Japan 2-0 at the Pakansari Stadium on Thursday. During the first half, Turki Al-Ammar scored the first goal for the Saudi team at the 29th minute while Khalid Al Ghannam scored the second goal at stoppage time. The result sets up a final match between Saudi Arabia and South Korea next Sunday. It is worth mentioning that the Saudi national football team U-19 qualified for the Youth World Cup scheduled for Poland next year after beating Australia 3-1 within the quarter-finals of AFC U-19 Championship.
