The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received today a telephone call today from Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, during which they exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and the latest developments on a number of regional issues of common interest, including the Libyan file. Egypt's Presidential spokesman, Ambassador Bassam Rady said in a statement today that during the call, the two leaders confirmed their support for the efforts to reach a political settlement of the Libyan crisis in a way that meets the aspirations of the Libyan people in restoring stability and security. The phone call also reviewed bilateral issues between the two countries and ways to develop and strengthen them to achieve the common interests of both countries.
