Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received a telephone call from his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. The Egyptian presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady said in a statement that the two presidents discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the joint efforts to restore stability in the region and reach political solutions to the existing crises, especially in Syria and Libya in the framework of the relevant UN resolutions in a way that achieves a long-term peaceful settlement. During the telephone conversation, the two sides also discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations and stressed the importance to continue activating the frameworks of joint cooperation in a number of fields.
