King Abdullah II of Jordan received today two phone calls from Iraqi President Barham Salih and Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi, offering their condolences to the victims of the tragic incident of schoolchildren and citizens who were sunk by floods in the Dead Sea region. For his part, the Jordanian King also extended his condolences to the Iraqi president and prime minister on the death of Iraqi students who died in same incident.
