Jordanian King Abdullah II and Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi discussed over the phone on Wednesday, the latest developments in the region, mainly efforts to fight terrorism. During the conversation, the Jordanian King reiterated Jordan's support for the efforts of the Iraqi government to fight terrorism and terror gangs, and achieve security and stability in the country. He praised progress that have been achieved by the Iraqi forces to defeat Daesh terrorist group. The Jordanian King and the Iraqi prime minister also discussed means to forge closer ties, mainly in the economic field.
