The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da'wah and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Indonesia signed in Jakarta today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The memorandum was signed by Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Dr. Lukman Hakim and Assistant Undersecretary Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Ahmed bin Issa Hazmi. The memorandum includes cooperation in the field of Islamic affairs between the two ministries in a number of issues of common interest such as holding in Saudi Arabia and in Indonesia workshops between the two sides to spread moderation and rejection of extremism, and scientific meetings, in addition to reviewing and translating the books issued by the two ministries.
