Dr. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Owaisheq, Assistant Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Political Affairs and Negotiations, met at the headquarters of the GCC secretariat general with the ambassador of New Zealand to the Kingdom James Monroe. During the meeting, they exchanged view points on issues of mutual concern to the two sides. Dr. Al-Owaisheq confirmed that the working plan between the GCC and New Zealand aims at enhancing ties between the two sides, and ways of promoting them through political, economic and cultural consultations. For his part, the ambassador of New Zealand expressed thanks and satisfaction over the level of cooperation so far achieved, gearing forward for more cooperation in the years to come and to see the free zone agreement between the GCC and New Zealand completed and signed.
