GCC senior official receives EU ambassador

Dr. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Owaisheq, Assistant Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Political Affairs and Negotiations, received at his office in Riyadh today the Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mekeli Cervoni De Orso.
During the meeting, regional and international issues as well as aspects of cooperation between the GCC and EU under the framework of the Joint cooperation agreement signed by the two sides in 1988 in addition to the outcomes of the latest meeting of the joint cooperation committee in Brussels in November 2017 were discussed.
For his part, Dr. Al-Owaisheq underscored the importance of joint work between the GCC and the EU towards a number of issues of mutual concern.
