Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Gasabi, Minister of Commerce and Investment, and Dr. Mohammed Qayoumi, Afghanistan's Minister of Finance, Advisor to the President for Infrastructure and Human Resources Affairs, co-chaired the first session of the Saudi Afghani Joint Committee held in Riyadh. Representatives from both parties took part in the meeting after which the session's minutes was signed. During the two-day meeting, a number of bilateral issues of concern to the two countries were discussed.
