Chairman of Saudi-Chinese Friendship Committee and Member of the Shura Council Abdulaziz bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa met today at the Council's Headquarters Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Li Huaxin. At the outset of the meeting, the Committee's Chairman welcomed the Ambassador, stressing deep-rooted relations between the two countries in all fields politically, economically and culturally, praising the role of the Chinese Embassy in the Kingdom in promoting and developing these relations. During the meeting, they reviewed issues of mutual interest between the two countries, the parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Chinese National People's Congress, and ways of activating the role of parliamentary friendship committees in the two countries to achieve their objectives in order to support aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two countries.
