Minister of Commerce and Industry in the State of Kuwait , Dr. Khalid Al-Roudhan received at his office in the Ministry here today the Minister of Commerce and Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two sisterly countries, ways of developing them, benefiting from all opportunities and advantages available to establish joint productive and investment projects between the private sector institutions, and overcoming all obstacles to the establishment of future commercial and industrial projects. They also reviewed a number of international changes and latest developments at the economic arena of the countries in the region, the impact of protectionist measures imposed by a number of countries in the world recently and how to deal with them and unite efforts to open markets for our products to access global markets, as well as how to take advantage of available resources and unify efforts to facilitate procedures for investors promoting competition and consumer protection. It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and Kuwait in 2017 amounted to (9000) million riyals and the number of Kuwaiti projects in the Kingdom (17) with a total capital of more than (30) billion riyals.
