The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the cabinet's session at Al-Salam palace in Jeddah on Tuesday afternoon.
The King started the session by thanking and praising Allah Almighty for His countless blessings for the Kingdom and its citizens since its founding by late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud and said, We thank Allah Almighty for the continuous development and growth being witnessed by our country and remember on the occasion of the National Day with pride and dignity, the great accomplishments achieved by the late father founder King Abdulaziz to unify this country and lay its foundations on the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah in various aspects of life, and what has been achieved by his sons, the Kings, after him to continue the development and growth up to date where the Kingdom boasts of its national unity and prestigious international status crowned by serving causes of Arab and Islamic nations; construction of the Two Holy Mosques , serving their visitors, ensuring their comfort; supporting the right and helping all those in need with money and humanitarian aid and actively contributing to the consolidation of the bonds of security and stability around the world, appealing to Allah Almighty to protect the Kingdom and its citizens from all evils and to perpetuate its security, stability and prosperity. I express my thanks and appreciation to the leaders and officials of countries and the Kingdom's citizens for their congratulations and celebrations marking the Kingdom's 88th National Day.
Then, the King briefed the Cabinet on the results of his talks with the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Amran Khan and ways to strengthen and intensify strategic relations between the two countries in all fields.
The Minister of Media, Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad said in his statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the Cabinet congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense on the occasion of the Kingdom's 88th National Day and what the nation is witnessing of security, prosperity, national cohesion and economic prosperity as well as the Kingdom's pioneering roles at Arab, Islamic and international levels, appealing to Allah Almighty to perpetuate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's security, safety, progress and prosperity.
