The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir participated in the high-level meeting on drug control, which was held under the chairmanship of US President Donald Trump at United Nations Headquarters in New York city yesterday on the sidelines of the General Assembly's 73rd session. The meeting discussed ways to eliminate the production of drugs and the problem of their addiction around the world and ways of raising awareness of their damage. Al-Jubeir participated in Nelson Mandela Peace Summit held also on the sidelines of the General Assembly's 73rd session to focus on world peace on the 100th anniversary of the birth of Nelson Mandela. He delivered a speech, on behalf of the Arab Group, during which he affirmed that the late President Nelson Mandela had strong and historical relationships with the leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Arab countries and had stances supportive of the Palestinian cause; the first cause of Arabs and Muslims.
