Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz newspaper in its editorial entitled ''The National Day 88th'' wrote that on this occasion, Saudis are proud to celebrate their country's great achievements at local and international arenas, and it tells the story of the unification of the country by founder late King Abdulaziz under one banner to build a strong state with the hands of its citizens. Okaz paper noted that strategic trends being led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince focus on diversifying economic income sources, addressing various challenges, optimizing investment of human resources and continuing work to invest the Kingdom's political, economic, cultural and religious assets. Al-Youm newspaper commented on the Idlib agreement and the impending end of the Syrian regime, saying what is happening on the ground in Idlib indicates that the Syrian regime is no longer in control of this territory, but also on all Syrian territories, as Idlib buffer zone has been taken from the regime. The paper pointed out that the Syrian people are entitled after long-suffering by the Assad regime to breathe a sigh of relief and return to their Arab and international ranks, and this will only come to them if they get rid of their soldiers and free themselves from their control, indicating that it seems that the imminent end of this regime is close and the people can recover after bitter years of wars that almost have wiped out and devastated their country.
