The Yemeni Human Rights Council called on the International Council on Human Rights to pay attention to violations of human rights and international humanitarian law practiced by armed militias in Yemen. In a speech before the Human Rights Council, Riyad al-Dabbi, the official for monitoring and documentation at Rasd "Human Rights Monitor" organization of the Arab Coalition on violations of human rights, stressed the need for the international community to take a serious stance towards the crimes committed by Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen. He held the council and the UN system responsibile for crimes committed by militias inside Yemen. The Yemeni official warned that the international community is not tolerating the practices of these militias and their supporters from some countries in the region outside the Arab region, which led to widespread violations, noting that every day that passes without stopping and holding the armed groups and militias accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity, one more day of killings and sufferings is added. --SAP 20:43 LOCAL TIME 17:43 GMT 0034 www.spa.gov.sa/1815923
