The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Salam palace in Jeddah today each of the President of Eritrea Isaias Efwerki and the Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali. They were also received by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region; and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense. To mark the occasion, an official welcome ceremony was accorded to the President of Eritrea and the Prime Minister of Ethiopia with the national anthems of the two countries as well of the Kingdom were played. Then, the President of Eritrea and the Prime Minister of Ethiopia shook hands with their hosts: Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mit'eb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Mishaal bin Majid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah Province; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Khalid bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Minister of National Guard, other ministers and commanders of military sectors. On the other hand, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with the official delegations of each of the President of Eritrea and the Prime Minister of Ethiopia. Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud accompanied the President of Eritrea Isaias Efwerki and the Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali to the main gallery at the Royal Court where the two senior guests shook hands with princes, ministers and senior officials.
