The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received the President of South Africa Syril Ramaphosa. The President was also received by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region; and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense. An official welcome ceremony, with the two national anthems performed, was held to honor the President of South Africa. After that, the President shook hands with other princes, ministers and senior military commanders. For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shook hands with members of the official delegation accompanying the President. Then, the monarch escorted his guest to the main gallery at the Royal Court where the President shook hands with other princes, ministers and senior government officials who welcomed him. Then the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques gave a luncheon in honor of the President of South Africa and his accompanying delegation. The reception and banquet parties were attended by a number of princes, ministers and senior officials.
