Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa, Minister of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, participated in the UNESCO Partners Forum, held in the French capital Paris today. The forum discussed strategic and future partnerships between UNESCO and countries, government institutions and civil society organizations. Dr. Al-Issa stressed the importance attached by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince to the support of international organizations, particularly UNESCO, pointing out that a number of Saudi government institutions have supported UNESCO, in many special programs and close cooperation with the organization, such as the King Abdullah Center for National Dialogue, the Saudi Fund for Development, civil society organizations such as the Misk Charity Foundation and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Charity Foundation. In a related context, the Minister of Education presented a proposal to establish a similar forum dealing with youths and the future, in cooperation with the Misk Foundation, which is concerned with youth of the future in the world.
