RIYADH — Misk International Forum, under the banner of "Youth Leaders Come Together" will be held on the Nov. 15-16th under the aegis of the Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense. "A total of 65 countries are participating in the event. The event will host ministers, high-ranking officials, representatives of international organizations, academics, experts and entrepreneurs. The forum will highlight empowering the youth and broadening their role in society," said the source. The source also said the forum will present strategies to involve the youth in the development of a society and ways to nurture a leading youth in various fields. "The event will be attended by 1,500 young men and women. Half of the attendees are Saudi and the other half are from various countries. The event will give youth an international platform to share and exchange knowledge and successful experiences," said the source. The source also said the event's aim is to come up with recommendations and initiatives to develop and nurture the energy of youth in society. "The event is extremely beneficial to Saudi youth and all of the attending youths from all over the world. They will be attending workshops and discussion circles lead by local and international youths, academics and experts," said the source. The source also said the attendees will discuss the factors of successful youth leadership, the role of knowledge in developing human capital, how to use growing technology to support knowledge exchange, the role of creative thinking and consumers' opinions in developing ideas, supporting natural creativity in institutes, the role of artificial intelligence and its dependence in daily life and the importance of self-marketing," said the source. Misk Charity Organization General Secretary and head of the forum's organizing committee Badr Al-Asakir said the role of youth is growing in the Kingdom. "The forum was held to reflect the youth's vision of the future culturally, socially, scientifically and technologically. The forum will bring youth from all over the world to share their experiences and knowledge," said Al-Asakir. He also said the objectives of the forum coincide with the Kingdom's 2030 vision.
