The executive director of the National Exhibitions and Conferences Program Engineer Tareq bin Abdulrahman Al-Issa, has described the attracting of four major international companies specialized in the field of exhibitions and conferences industry in the Saudi market as a strong addition to the Saudi meetings industry, pointing out that the program aims to attract distinguished companies in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) to support the Saudi meeting industry for providing job opportunities for citizens, transferring expertise and knowledge to local companies in exhibitions and conferences, and attracting quality business activities to support the Saudi economy. During a press conference held by the National Program for Exhibitions and Conferences and SAGIA at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC) yesterday to highlight on attracting of Informa Company to the organization of exhibitions and conferences, Al-Issa added that the attraction of international companies in exhibitions and conferences is part of the Kingdom's efforts to develop the meeting industry for getting economic benefits as this industry will support the achievement of initiatives and specialized programs for the Kingdom's vision 2030.
