The city of Wadi Mlaiz, an administrative affiliate of the Tunisian state of Jandouba, today celebrated handing over as many as 18 residential units, financed by the Riyadh-based Saudi Development Fund (SDF), to their low-income owners as part of a SDF soft-loan worth $150 million aiming to build nearly 4600 collective residential units throughout the Republic of Tunisia. In a speech to mark the occasion, Mohammed Saleh Al-Arfaoui, Minister of Equipment, Housing and Territorial Development of Tunisia, thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for the continuous support rendered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Tunisia in several occasions, citing today's project as a gesture towards the most needy and poor. For his part, the Saudi ambassador to Tunisia Mohammed bin Mahmoud Al-Ali, congratulated the beneficiaries of this project on winning appropriate housing, vowing that the SDF is embarked on completing the remaining units in various parts of the Republic of Tunisia.
