Makkah Region Development Authority and the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) have launched a number of guidance and awareness messages to the passengers of Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro line during Hajj season 1439H to help pilgrims perform Hajj rituals easily and comfortably, especially while using the train, and they are in three languages: English, Urdu, and Arabic as a first step aimed at reaching nine languages by the day after tomorrow, to be broadcast through SPA and its news services, official accounts on the social networks, and various means available in the Holy Sites. The awareness messages were prepared by Makkah Region Development Authority in several languages, in a simplified concept to reach pilgrims of different nationalities through innovative infographic designs that have transformed the literal text into static and animated graphics that can be clearly understood. SPA will broadcast these messages through its news services on its website (www.spa.gov.sa) inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in parallel with the movement of pilgrims between the holy sites, as well as to SPA official accounts on social media and the accounts of the Makkah Region Development Authority to ensure the arrival of the messages to as many pilgrims as possible. A number of videos will be broadcast in nine languages: Arabic, English, French, Turkish, Urdu, Farsi, Indonesian and two African languages: Hausa and Yoruba, and they all contain instructions during the throwing of pebbles to serve pilgrims who do not speak Arabic either by text or Image. SPA will contribute to spreading these messages through various means, as it will reach pilgrims through their application on mobile, in addition to the accounts of Makkah Region Development Authority and fixed and mobile signs in the holy sites, those inside Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro line and roads leading to it.
