Arab Parliament Speaker: We Reject Statements of European Parliament on Human Rights Situation in Bahrain

Affirming solidarity of his organization with the Kingdom of Bahrain, Speaker of the Arab Parliament Dr. Meshaal bin Fahm Al-Salami today rejected the statements issued by the European Parliament on human rights situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which, he described as threatening the Arab country's sovereignty and security.
Al-Salami pointed out that the Arab Parliament unanimously approved, in its meeting held this month in Cairo, an important resolution confronting the repeated, confused, systematic and politicized resolutions issued by some organizations, especially the European Parliament, on the situation of human rights in Bahrain.
