The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Tuesday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the King welcomed pilgrims who started arriving in the Kingdom from all over the world to perform Hajj rituals, praying to Almighty Allah to accept their Hajj, directing all public and private sectors pertaining to serving pilgrims to exert all efforts for facilitating for pilgrims since their arrival through various ports and in the two holy cities of Makkah and Madinah and the holy sites, double their endeavors and upgrade services being provided for pilgrims to keep abreast of latest developments executed in the Two Holy Mosques, holy sites and various utilities to provide best facilities for the guests of Allah to perform Hajj rituals easily, tranquilly and safely. The King briefed the Cabinet on the results of his talks with President Isaias Afwerki of the State of Eritrea, during which they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, ways of developing and enhancing them and latest developments at the regional arena. The Minister of Media Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session that the Cabinet reviewed a number of reports on latest developments in the region and the world, appreciating the signing of minutes of establishing a coordination council between the Kingdom and Kuwait, reaffirming close ties between the two countries and keenness on developing and enhancing them to serve the joint interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. --More 14:50 LOCAL TIME 11:50 GMT 0011 www.spa.gov.sa/1787866
