The acting Russian ambassador to Yemen, Andrei Chernovol, reiterated his country's position alongside the legitimate government and the Yemeni people. This came during two separate meetings held by the Russian diplomat with Yemeni Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Mansour Bajash and the Minister of Local Administration Abdulraqeeb Fateh. The Yemeni officials also praised the Russian position in support of the legitimate government and its valuable contributions to the relief efforts in the country. They stressed the keenness of the government of their country to cooperate with all donors to intensify relief assistance and support the relief process to meet the humanitarian needs of citizens.
