The Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), an affiliate of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has approved new financial aid for several developmental, social and educational projects in a number of OIC Member States. The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen said that this aid comes within the efforts supported by the OIC, represented by the Fund for achieving sustainable and comprehensive human development and economic welfare for the peoples of OIC Member States along with serving all Muslims over the world in these sectors in addition to developing their capacities in various social, economic, educational and cultural fields. A number of social, charitable and educational institutions in Niger, Côte d'Ivoire and many different countries have benefited from this new financial aid.
