Yemeni government today lodged a strong protest at the Lebanese government against Hezbollah support for Houthi militias usurping power in Sanaa. In a message the Foreign Minister of Yemen Khalid Al-Yamani sent to his Lebanese counterpart Jubran Baseel, the Yemeni government lashed out at Hasan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah of Lebanon, for his recent statement calling on Lebanese to go supporting the Houthis against the legitimate government of President Abdrabbou Mansour Hadi, considering the behavior a flagrant violation and interference in the internal affairs of Yemen. Al-Yamani said the Yemeni government preserves its right to raise the issue at the Arab League Council, the Islamc Conference Organization and the UN Security Council who all call for respecting the sovereignty of states, non-interference in their domestic affairs or harm their legitimate interests and rights according to international laws.
