Yemen's minister of information Muammar Al-Eryani extended thanks to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for the support it was rendering for his country's legitimate government, led by President Abdrabbou Mansour Hadi, and media sectors and institutions which have been restored, thanks to the Kingdom's generous support. He paid tribute to the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Kingdom for harboring the temporary exiled Yemeni media, citing the subversion and harms being inflicted by the Yemeni media institutions caused by the Houthi militias and Saleh forces as well as the oppression being suffered by journalists, including killing, abduction, and chasing as the Houthis have usurped the media buildings and capabilities in Sanaa. This came during a visit of the minister to Al-Khaleej Transmission and TV in Riyadh where he met with its Director General Dr. Abdullah Abu Rass and discussed with him ways of enhancing media cooperation in the field of radio and television.
