Held annually, the High-level Political Forum provides an opportunity for nations to share experiences and best practices towards achieving the SDGs. This year's theme "Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies" focuses on six SDGs: Ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. Ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. Making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. Ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns. Protecting, restoring and promoting sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss. Strengthening the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development. It is worth mentioning that the 17 SDGs cover social, economic, and environmental dimensions of development to protect the rights of future generations. The world's nations are committed to achieve the SDGs by the year 2030
