Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has taken part in the high-level 29-member meeting for sponsors of the Humanitarian Affairs Coordination Bureau, an affiliate of the UN, held in the Swiss capital of Bern and lasted for two days. Dr. Qqeel bin Jamaan Al-Ghamdi, Assistant Secretary General for planning and development affairs at KSrelief, hailed the approval of the group of the Kingdom's admission to the sponsor countries group, citing the humanitarian and relief efforts of the Saudi facility in more than 40 countries with programs and projects overpassing 428 worth more than $1.8 billion in the participation of 123 international and regional partners as well as developmental works in more than 78 countries with programs and projects overpassing 1105 worth more than $65 billion in the last 20 years.
